How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Scribe Scan → Cancel
Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Scribe Scan → Cancel
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open the app and go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
Why isn't the text extraction accurate?
For best results: ensure good lighting, hold the camera steady, and make sure the text is clearly visible within the viewfinder. Very stylized handwriting or poor image quality may affect accuracy.
How do I delete my data?
All your scans are stored locally on your device. Go to Settings → Data → Clear All Scans to delete everything. Alternatively, uninstalling the app removes all data.
Is my data sent to any servers?
Images are sent to Google's Gemini API for text extraction only. They are processed and not stored. Your scans and extracted text remain on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
